🕊️ Prayer for Peace (Good Friday)
Prince of Peace,
On this holy and wounded day,
We lay before You the trembling world.
From the anguish of the Cross,
Pour out Your mercy on nations torn by war,
Homes scarred by division,
Hearts aching with loneliness and fear.
Bring peace, not as the world gives,
But as you alone can,
a peace that stirs even in the shadow of death,
a peace that listens, forgives, and heals.
Let swords be turned to ploughshares,
and enemies into brothers.
Let the silence of the tomb become the silence before resurrection.
And until that dawn,
Let us be carriers of Your peace, gentle, brave, and unyielding.
Amen.
