“which is a diabolical obsession. It consists of uncontrollable evil thoughts that torment an individual, especially at night, or sometimes always. In all cases, the cure is the same: prayer, fasting, the sacraments, a Christian life, charity, and exorcisms. To identify a possible evil source we use some general, not foolproof, guidelines, because the “negativity”, that is, the demons, tend to attack man in five areas. These attacks are more or less severe, according to their origin. The five areas are the following: health, business, affections, enjoyment of life, and desire for death.”
