"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Psalm 118:24

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Blessed are you, Holy God, for in Jesus Christ you came to rule in our lives, not as a king, but as a humble servant, riding on a donkey. Enter into our hearts this day with your glory, that we may greet you with shouts of praise; through Christ, our Sovereign, and Savior.

May we not require the palms of victory and praise, the accolades and shouts of the multitude to see thy glory in gentleness, patience, loving-kindness, and, yes, pain and sometimes death. Thy way of peace—of faith, hope, and love—still is our path, our joy, our way.

Amen...

God Bless You...
